Photographers and want to be photographers, you are invited to join Bay Area fire dancing artists, GlitterGirl, Nova, The Amazing Zihni, & Mary for a night of fire dancing photography fun from which we will have the May Flowers Fire Photo contest

About the Photography Clinic

In March, we ran the Spring Forward Photography Clinic at the Palace of fine arts. This event will run a little differently as we will have fewer artists and only one photography section at a time to prevent photographers from missing opportunities and squelch some of the FOMO (fear of missing out).

The winners of the Spring Forward Photo contest were selected from these entries, on an artist by artist basis, for Cary, Zihni, Leilani, GlitterGirl and Liam.

The event will run from 8:00 to 10 PM on Friday, May 20 on the median between the end of Market Street before you cross over Embarcaderro.

About the Photo Clinic

Here’s how the evening will progress.

  • We will set up one photography area at a time.
  • Your Photography instructor for the evening will offer information on how to shoot the fire dancing models as the artist rotate through the lineup.
  • After each artist does burns in the first location, we will move to a different location within the venue and repeat the same cycle.
  • We will work with three different stations over the evening, with a rough schedule as follows:
    • gather and get settled: 8:00
    • remarks and information from hosts: 8:15
    • first location: 8:30
    • Second location: 9:00
    • Third location: 10:00
