Poi Class: Stalls

This session will work on various two different types of movements. First, we will explore various stall combinations using independent hand movement on various planes (side, front, back and horizontal), in various directions (overhand and underhand) and in various ways (up, down, side, behind the back and isolated).

Prerequisites: Required: Stall one hand without stalling the other; Suggested: The Basic Stall Drill, as seen in this video below.

In addition, we will cover flower patterns, focusing on drills and concepts to help artists at all levels. Those new to poi will be introduced to the basics and those with more skill interested in expanding their repertoire by exploring more complex flower patterns (antispin, hybrids, CAPs, etc.) will be instructed in advanced techniques so that we may accomodate a mixed level of students.

Tuition is non refundable.
